New to TCOC?
Senior Minister (click on name to email)
I grew up as a son of a minister and elder and always wanted to preach. Living in the fishbowl of ministry has never deterred me from the life of service to our God. He is the reason for ministry. He is the purpose to serve as a Minister. To bring people closer to knowing and living for God is the reason I have always wanted to serve Him in this role.
I have served as a Youth Minister, Executive Minister and as a Preacher. I have been in active ministry for over 30 years of my life. For a period of time I was in the business world as a Sales Rep, Sales Manager, Vice-President of Operations and Business Owner. I have my Master’s Degree in Business and have taught in the School of Business at the University of Phoenix teaching undergrad and graduate students.
My lovely wife, Linda, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. We have been married for 20 years and have four children and four grandchildren.
Worship and Youth Minister (click on name to email)
I am a passionate, energetic, and outspoken follower of Christ. I believe the people of this world have a huge responsibility to love in Christ, and I know that God has brought me here to TCOC in order to help instill this basic idea of Christianity - Love God, Love Others - through the responsibility of working with both TYM (Trenton Youth Ministry) and the Worship Ministry.
I love experiencing the Gospel of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection through singing, playing, teaching, and listening. Believing that sharing this gift to the world is a part of who I am is what helps me to uplift others spirits in song, word, and deed.
I graduated from Rochester College with a Bachelors of Science in Music Education. I am a lover of Ultimate Frisbee, baking scones, playing with my nephews, the outdoors, and a good board/card game. I am excited to be on staff at TCOC and can’t wait to see what God has in store for this wonderful congregation.
Children's Minister (click on name to email)
I am passionate about God, and using the talents He has given to honor Him, that is why I work part-time with the Live Wire Kids (birth-5th gr.) at TCOC. Here, I can see kids connect with Christ. I, along with my husband Vic, have three children of our own. I have been a part of TCOC for over 20 years, and have been the children’s minister for over 10 years.
I graduated from Abilene Christian University with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary education and also graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Master’s degree in Early Childhood education.
Administrative Assistant (click on name to email)
I am the first person you'll see when you walk through the doors of TCOC any weekday. Since 2008, I have been the full-time administrative assistant and am known for my constantly changing hair color and my bright, personable presence as I help you find exactly what you need. I have been at TCOC since 2003, serving on the praise team, with the drama ministry, and the children's ministry.
A self-proclaimed computer junkie, I help our church family stay connected with my active presence on Twitter, Facebook, Google+, blogs, and several message boards. When I’m not at the church building, you can find me in a theater, as I have passed down my love of stage lights and greasepaint to my four children. My motto is WYSWYG, or “What you see is what you get”, as I and my husband Jim are passionate about following Jesus authentically in both our church life and home life.
